Hotel Batha Accommodation 3 Stars in Fez, Marruecos

The rooms are quite large and traditionally decorated, with ceramic tile flooring. The curtains and bedspreads have a floral design. The toilet is in a separate room from the bathroom (typical in Morocco) The restaurant is situated on the top floor, at the rear of the hotel. It has a dark wooden floor and corresponding dark heavy furniture. It is a plain stone building. The lobby is small, but it opens out onto seating area and outside courtyard whose centrepiece is a sparking fountain. Arabic style tiles and traditional designs can be seen in all the public areas. The original building is located at the rear, housing a bar named after Winston Churchill, which is well kept and in almost original condition. This is a good hotel for budget travellers (SB 03/08)
